Absolutely amazing food. Would recommend the pizza and pasta. Jenny the waitress was so friendly and really helpful. Will be back tomorrow to try other choices off their menu. Chef really did fantastic. I love Italian food and this was deffo top 5 xxx

Stayed here twice now. Both times - more than happy. Staff excellent. Rooms have what you need. Breakfast is very good. Ample parking. Easy walk to York city centre, The Barbican etc.

Lovely clean hotel in a nice quiet location. Good walk down the river to the town centre. Nice little pool and a great bar area . Beware the hidden car park charges though.

This was a dream stay. Had the most amazing time with my family, the staff were so accommodating and friendly from the reception to the restaurant. We ate in the restaurant twice and it was delicious. Great location right on the river a short walk from all the attractions. Thank you Novotel!

Not what we expected for a mid range hotel. Signs of damp around the window. A few cobwebs that were mentioned to the cleaner but we're still there when we got back. No means to heat up pastries at breakfast but other than that breakfast was good. Bed was comfy and room was relatively clean. We never had time to try out the pool facilities.
