Paid for an Interim service plus 20£ extra for Full Synthetic Oil and when I got home the car was warning me that I need to top up oil level. Added 1250 ml to get to normal level of oil which was 42£... After making a complaint which took almost 2 weeks to sort ... the manager took the decision they can t help as I couldn t take the car back to their service despite me informing them I can t do that as I work daily.. They never once asked me to bring the car but said that if the problem happens again to then bring the car. All togheter it resulted in me paying an extra 62£ to get bad services. Shame !!

Forgot to tell me (not an exaggeration) my battery needed changing after a service, until I brought it back having broken down. When I asked what else they may have forgot to tell me and if I could take a copy of the service log sheet, they got irritable and secretive with me and wouldn't answer any more questions.

I had a new clutch put in my van and it only lasted 5 months. When I brought it back to mr clutch as the clutch was still under warranty. (The warranty is not worth the paper it is written on) When I brought my van back to them the branch manager Andy went to inspect it, he came back without even looking at it and said it was my gearbox which I knew it wasn’t. I then brought my van to a different garage to get a second opinion, the different garage inspected my van property, even took my van on a road test, they advised me that it was my clutch release bearing and not my gearbox. I brought my van back to mr clutch and they said they would strip my van down and if it was my clutch they would fix it but if it was my gearbox which I knew it wasn’t I would have to pay £200. I agreed as I knew it was my clutch and not my gearbox. I then got a call from Andy saying it was my gearbox. I went back to mr clutch (mr rip off) to see how it was the gearbox. The gearbox was half in gear so when they span the gear spindle it would make a grinding sound, when I asked Andy to lower my van so I could make sure it was in neutral he got abrupt and said it is in neutral. I asked again and got told no, I knew from that point that it wasn’t in neutral and they were just trying to rip me off again. I took a short video of the noise to show a different garage to see what they thought, they just confirmed what I was thinking that it wasn’t in neutral, they believed that it could have been half in gear. mr clutch put my van back together and charged me £200. My van is now in worse condition then when I bought it into them. I now can’t get 5th gear. I have put a complaint into mr clutch head office. I got a call back to say they can’t do anything to fix my van as they believe there branch manager who said it was my gearbox. I have never known any mechanic to be able to Diagnose a fault without even looking at a vehicle. Not only have they broken my van but they have had £800 in total for doing it. What a bunch of cowboys they really haven’t got a clue and as for their customer service skills that’s a joke, what customer service! I now will be Seeking legal action against mr clutch. Please don’t use them you will only regret it as they really are cowboys. They will rip you off. I strongly advise everyone to stay well away from them. There are different garages that won’t rip you off and will do the job properly in the first place. Honesty mr clutch are a bunch of cowboys please don’t use them if you like your vehicle as it will only come back with more problems then you started with. I wouldn’t have rated them any stars but I had no choice as I couldn’t write a review without doing so Please don’t allow these pieces of scum to rip you off (cowboys)

Do not take your car here for an MOT. The initial low cost is not worth it. They find picky things and then quote high prices for them to repair the faults. Then they charge for the re-test and failed my car on low headlight beams that they hadn't even mentioned on the first test. They refused to adjust them for me - a two minute procedure - and failed the car again. I recommend you to find an alternative test centre that does a proper job with good customer care. I will never use this company again and I recommend that you don't either if you don't want to end up being messed around and paying higher charges than if you paid slightly more for the MOT in the first place.

Took my car for the MOT. Absolutely shocking customer service and clueless mechanics. Tried to have a conversation with a mechanic about advisories but was rudely interrupted and rushed, because “my car already took two slots”. Blame your time management not customers! Failed due to light bulbs not being in matching colours. Then was quoted £10 for retest if not done within 24h. Is that even legal? Thought it was F.O.C. If done within 14 days. Passed the same evening. First and last time I’ve used them. Avoid avoid avoid !

Wanted over £600 for tyre, break pad and battery on the cars first MOT from new. Took it to a well rated independent garage for 2nd opinion who said, car absolutely fine, nothing at all needs doing, no charge. Mr C. lives up to their nickname.
