Minstergate Hyundai – York york

I'd suggest Minstergate Hyundai York to a friend because I have had over three years of excellent service from Minstergate, and replacing my car with another Hyundai was an entirely trouble free, speedy, and pleasant experience.

Very efficient...a well rounded experience....nice clean showroom with tidy staff....made you feel like they knew what they were doing..needed a new fuel filter all done inside an hour...this was after they done a health check on the car as well....recommended

Brought my second hand 2017 Santa Fe for its first free health check. Had maps and software updated and mechanical things all checked for free. Staff could answer the questions I had too. Nice free coffee whilst I waited.

We visited the Hyundai Minstergate showroom this evening - I don't know what to say other than "fantastic all around". Woman on reception was friendly and said Hi. Great first impressions :) Kevin was stood in proximity to the reception and happily greeted me and my wife (and the two kids) and straight away got us seated at his desk to talk car.... Within 2 minutes he had the kids occupied with lego blocks and coloring crayons, had them drinking the kids drinks, offered myself and the wife a drink on several occasions. I went into the garage with a budget under £20,000 for a used car. In the end we went for a brand new car which was better than what we had planned, not because that's his job to up-sell, but because he explained in detail what was the best financial options. And the best thing............ He wasn't a pushy sales person which is the one thing I thank him for. Personally a sales rep gets more respect from me when he/she isn't trying to force something upon the customer, and for that I was happy to continue with the deal. Kevin explained in great detail all the financial options available based upon the information I provided him. The part ex price he gave me was more than I expected (less than private, but that's a given) but certainly more than I had thought. One thing I will say, and take it how you wish... the cars aren't as cheap as other Hyundai garages outside of York (not by much), but believe me... I'd happily go back to the York branch and pay that tiny bit more when I know the service is going to be spot on. Myself and the wife came away from the garage happy and had nothing negative to say about the dealership or the sales people. All positives from our end - we just can't wait to pick up our new car in a week or so :)

We were looking for a small car to act as a second car, but mainly to take away with us when we were motorhoming, and stopped in at the Minstergate Hyundai dealership. We were approached by one of the sales staff, Gabriela who was kind enough to take us around several of the cars that would meet our needs, and she arranged for us to take one of them out for a test drive. We decided to buy the car. The sales experience on the day and subsequent collection a week or so later were both very slick and without problems. Gabriela dealt with us from start to finish. Her hospitality, customer service and product knowledge were all excellent. Since we collected the car on the 12 Oct, we have had 2 courtesy calls from Gabriela to make sure that all is well. This is excellent service. While there, we were given a look at some of the new vehicles in the showroom, and will certainly revisit Minstergate again when our main car is due to be swapped.

I cannot speak highly enough about our positive experience with Minstergate. We bought our new car, nothing was too much trouble, our salesman was Ben, who was attentive, patient and very professional. On our first trip we had an issue with the car, Ben drove out to us, lent us his own car. The issue was something we caused and 48hrs later the car was back to us, re valeted and in perfect order. The communication at all times.was reassuring. I'd I could leave a 10 star review I would.

I had seen a car I liked whilst out in York and went to see it one night after work. Kevin Davison was polite, helpful and did not make me feel any pressure in regards to the car. I was left to view the car at my leisure but he was on hand if I had any questions. Highly recommend this dealer for their professionalism.

Bought my car from Gabrielle and the service was amazing. She came in from her day off collected me from the train station to do the handover can't praise her enough for her proffesonaism and level of service.

We ordered an MG SUV on mobility.Although we had to wait for delivery the service was outstanding and very happy with Ian's service.
