In 2017 I was told my issue would take 6 months, it'd be hard and frenetic but it'd be over by Christmas. I'm still hoping it will be over by Christmas. I have asked how far we are through the process and the response was "how long is a piece of string?", Surely they've enough experience to speculate ? I have often had to remind them of *significant* facts of the case. Before submitting paperwork to the court, I had 4 drafts with various facts wrong (some wrong having previously been corrected). I feel like just another manilla folder in the pile. I have suffered from having a part time solicitor working on my behalf and have frequently felt that my case only makes it to daylight if I call and request an update.

5/ 5

Miller Sands provided the kind of service you always hope for but rarely find: careful, prompt, courteous, and friendly. Everyone we dealt with knew exactly what they were doing, and they made sure we understood every step of the house purchase process. Excellent value.

Quoted £220 per hour. Expecting a bill for 48minutes meeting and 2 short 5 minute phone calls. Anything up to 2 hours £440.00 would have been paid without query. Invoiced for £3,500.00 arrived. This was queried at the time 6 months ago and the manager told me that the Solicitor Gurpal Singh had left and He had received similar complaints of over charging from other customers. He said he would waiver the invoice. 6 months on out of the blue i am being threatened with court action for non payment of Bill. No breakdown of costs given to date. The first contact with miller and sands was 1 minute of free advise. I was then pressurised for a positive google review. I wonder how many of the positive reviews here are also for unpaid work? Service was ok, Advise was sound. The bill is 1600% inflated. i am simply lost for words. I would strongly urge not to use this company they are extremely dishonest.
