My comments relate to one of the larger executive rooms, one with a lovely view over the fields behind the hotel. This, my second stay at Mercure Monte Pio was much better than the first. The room was lovely, spacious with a sitting area and a nice chesterfield lounge - great to lounge with a glass of wine and watch TV. There's a table and chairs for two beside the large picture windows. Comfortable bed, selection of pillows and a large, well decked-out bathroom. I ordered the lamb shanks with garlic mash and vegetables from room service; served hot and delicious. An enjoyable stay.

Fantastic. A very nice hotel of classique style, a former Convent. A room with a spa just took my breath away. 5 stars just for this. Very modern updated and decorated bathrooms. Nice meals in the restaurant. Also have a mini gym but equipment is limited but still giving 5 stars for everything else. A sauna is a big plus too.

Enjoyed my stay. Have a good restaurant in-house. Lots of option and good food. Tried breakfast and dinner.. Lots of amenities like gym, pool, play area etc..

Wonderful old building with beautiful furnishings. Friendly staff, great rooms and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

The bedroom floor was creeky. Rooms need renovating a little. All in all, it's good.
