Loved it, quiet and empty, the way I like it. Stopped in for tea for two, huge pot of tea, and lovely clean cups and spoons I felt confident in the hygiene. Listening to the radio quietly on the couches with a lovely cuppa, it was perfect. Definitely recommend.

Went with my son for some food before going to the Odeon. Had 2 all day breakfasts. Can't really go wrong with. Reasonably priced, quick service, clean toilet. Very busy on a Saturday afternoon but still managed to bag a table. Would go again.

Welcoming old school cafe. Pretty standard British cafe menu (that’s not a criticism) located at the top end of Bold Street. Friendly service and decent enough food and coffee.

We found this lovely place, by chance whilst my husband and I were having a wonder. Maggie May's is beautifully clean and very homely, it serves traditional British food which is delicious and very well priced. Under the glass on the tables, is old newspaper cuttings that tell you all about the history of Liverpool. We came back today and brought our little boy, and he has fallen in love as well, and is now desperate to bring his nanna on a date. I highly recommend Maggie May's. Also they have a number 5 rating which they proudly display in the window.
