A small but ok gym; the facilities are better suited for gymnastics and junior swimming. Less money has clearly gone into improving this centre compared to Wavertree.

The large pool tiles and grouting are like new since reopening after extensive maintenance work. The staff are friendly and efficient. Great place for a swim.

Local leisure centre studio with mirrored side wall and sprung wooden floor for hire for groups or used to play space for 2 net courts. Staff friendly and helpful.

I went to a baby swim class here and it was mental. Proper old school swimming pool with small changing cubical around the side. Baby swim worth a visit if you like squatting in water holding your baby, listening to booming nursery rhymes. Like pool party meets old Mcdonald...

If you are coming here to swim, DO NOT! There's all sorts of bugs and disgusting things inside the pool. The stench. Do not even get me started on the stench. The building is slowly rotting away and the staff are careless. So do yourself a favour and turn in the other direction of this disgraceful place! This doesn't even deserve one star. It's the only way I can post it lol.
