Letters of Distinction york

Very upset with this agency. We arranged two viewings 4days in advance and took time off work to fit in with when the agency were doing their block viewings. In the morning of the viewing they called to confirm both viewings. Then 45 minutes before the second viewing they called to cancel it because they didn’t have keys. The woman explained she would still meet us at the first property in 15 mins (which was the arranged time). 20 minutes later we were called again to cancel the second viewing and I explained that we had already been told but we were waiting at the first property. We were then told that the viewing for the first property would need to be cancelled as they didn’t have the keys, despite confirming 20 minutes earlier. The whole situation was handled terribly and there was no remorse at all from the agents. This is clearly something that happens a lot as there were also conveniently only 4 members of staff working today with no managers or senior staff. Highly disappointed with this service.

Well organised, 21-st century agency. I, too, would like to extend my thanks to the team, and especially Zoe for the help I received with getting me into my own flat on a tight schedule, and helping me overcome some of the issues one is inevitably to encounter. From start to finish, it took me 9 days to get into my flat. That in itself is worth 5 stars. Thank you.

We were looking for our first rented property as a couple, and I moved up to York. This made me massively anxious, but Letters of Distinction made it so much easier. I first dealt with Becki Bulmer who was super lovely, and easy to talk to. She helped us all the way through, and dealt perfectly with my nervousness. We then got passed on to Zoe Dunning who, again, was so lovely & sweet. She helped us with all of the moving in, all of the handing over of the keys. She was so kind.

They were polite enough and responded quickly but what’s the point of having a property to rent on several website when it’s not available anymore? Maybe just to waste my time looking through it? As long as an estate agent’s time isn’t waisted, eh.

When attempting to rent a property, I was dealing with one agent who was rude, impatient and unsympathetic to my situation in regards to handing over documentation in time. When I visited the agency to talk to her, she merely shunned me and told me to leave the premises when I was trying to explain why I was so late in handing my documentation due to personal reasons. Due to this experience I would definitely not recommend Letters Of Distinction to anyone.
