I attended a Photography Day with Guy Badham and Naomi Jones. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. Not only were they extremely easy to get on with, but had a phenomenal knowledge of both the local area, wildlife and, obviously, photography! They were able to take us to some of the best places to see wildlife - and whilst this is never guaranteed, we were lucky to see a wide variety of birds, cattle sheep and deer. I would thoroughly recommend doing one of these photography days - it doesn’t matter what level of photographer you are or what make of camera you have - their patience and accommodating manner will make it worth your while.

I love the Let's Go Peak District Facebook page and Website. The Facebook Page, post so many inspirational pictures of where to visit next, and the website is great for finding walks that take you to some of those wonderful places, and accommodation to stay in while you are there. I went on on the Let's Go Peak District Photography days which was brilliant. Honestly, I can't rave about it enough, and recommended it to lots of friends. There was just me, and two other like minded people just wanting a few tips on how to get the most from our cameras. (I just had a digital pocket camera but the other two had more sophisticated cameras, so they really do tailor it for everyone). Nothing to heavy and technical, just a few pointers on which buttons to price, how to compose pictures, etc, and best of all they take you too see some amazing places, etc. I was so fortunate to see the highland calves. They were just adorable and something I will never forget. The chap that lead our day was a chap called Guy. He was lovely. So passionate about photography and nature, but really keen to show you the ropes too. xx

I went on one of these courses (photography day) with Phil Sproson, it truly was a game changer in my photography skills. I have had a step change in the quality of my compositions and my use of the camera technically. I have since been on a second course with the Villager Jim team, another step change. When I can, I shall be booking another visit!

I did a Photography day with Phil Sproson What a brilliant experience! Despite the appalling weather (it rained hard all day) I learnt a lot. Phil passed on some great tips and techniques and showed a few locations that were new to me. 3pm and still raining when Phil, instead of calling it a day, suggested we adjourn for hot coffee to a very friendly pub. The next, very informative, hour and a half flew by discussing cameras, lenses, filters and settings. Enjoyed it so much I promptly booked another one which is, due to COVID, still pending.
