JUVENEX SPA – York

This place is one of those old school Asian spas where you go naked, get in the dry sauna, then a pool, then a steam room, then get washed and scrubbed down like you came out of your mother's womb and then back to the sauna to dry off a bit. I also got a half an hour add-on massage which wasn't Swedish but more like a Tui Na Chinese or Taiwanese style. I actually prefer this. Overall great experience that lasted about 2.5 hours. If you're not into being completely naked then bring a bathing suit. 😆

I had an amazing experience at Juvenex spa. I got the enhanced couple’s package. Lisa and Leena were great. The Korean body scrub is a MUST and the massage was perfect. Very well worth it! Only thing I wish I had was a manicure and pedicure lol. Pricey yes but great ambiance and service. Definitely will be returning!

Horrible experience. Total waste of money. I went for foot reflexology. The staff who did my foot reflexology was so confused about what it includes and she asked me questions like is it full leg or half. She was highly unprofessional. They didn’t even have chair for foot massage. They made me lie down and the lady barely used any oil or lotion for my massage. Please don’t go there. It’s a total waste of money and time.

I would say that this a good spa a bit pricey. I would never spend 95 bucks to have some wash my face and put lotion on so I won’t be returning for a facial. However the massage is hit or miss depending on who you get. I was a little persistent about wanting a deep tissue massage and wanting a good massage. As pastime I spent $600 but didn’t feel like Nicholas Cage in Face off when was he was singing Hallelujah. This time I got Monica and she is the best for deep tissue the 90 minutes was heaven. While they don’t use oil and massage for about 40 minutes with a sheet over you which I am still trying to understand the concept. The other half of the massage they use lotion. It’s a 24hr spot that’s pretty cool to be available to go anytime you want. Overall the staff is nice most don’t speak English reception does speak English she was very nice as well. I can say the staff is definitely great.

Looks nice on picture but when u get there nothing major, very plane, no changing room
