Took my car to JJB motors after going in a chatting with the staff to get the feel of the garage, at this point I felt good about the place so booked my car in to have the bushes on the front replaced with powerflex black series (supplied by myself). After 4 days of them having my car i got told it was ready for collection. To be told when I got there that they haven’t done all my bushes. The one good thing about it was that they picked up it needed new cv boots again I supplied them while it was there. I’m picking my car up the bill then totalled over £1200. I then took my car to another garage a couple of weeks later to have the rest of my bushes changed over. The other garage charged me £120 plus sorted out a problem with my drop links being fitted wrong from when JJB done there half of job.

Had 2 engine mounts fitted at JJB last year to my Audi A1, quote came out at very similarly priced to a main Audi dealer in York but the guys at JJB seemed like nice people who were knowledgeable about cars so got the work done at JJB instead. Turned out I had a knocking noise after a week/2 weeks of the engine mounts being fitted - I wrongly assumed it was noise from an exhaust that had also recently been fitted elsewhere and that perhaps the exhaust was just hitting the cut out. I wasn't too worried about it so just let it be. Unfortunately I was wrong - a year past in which I did 3-4000 miles. I had the same noise, except much more noticeably. It was something that was flagged up at my most recent MOT. I contacted JJB who have seen my message asking for advice about what to do and no one has replied. I had another mechanic look at it and the two engine mounts I had replaced were both apparently completely shot - 4000 miles after I had them replaced the first time, it was likely that they were never properly fixed in the first place. Very disappointed and cannot recommend getting work done here. If I had gotten the work done at a main Audi dealer I would have been able to go back to them and had the work repaired under warranty. Instead I am left with a garage who seems want to forget they did the work.

Ignore all the fake 5-star reviews, many of which Google have already removed. Look at the detailed and genuine 1-star reviews from people who have actually tried to get their car fixed at this place. They charged me over £1000 to replace suspension parts, charging dealership prices for the parts themselves. A few months later and the parts are already failing, because they appear to be cheap third-party copies. Together with vague and inaccurate labour costs and bad communication, do yourself a favour and go somewhere else.

Had a revo map put on my car here. Quick and efficient. Was able to answer all technical queries I threw at them where other garages try to wing it by making stuff up. I like to set garages traps like this to find out the quality of not just what they do but what they say too. Happy to return.
