I recently had the Algae Detox it's by far the best beauty treatment I've experienced in Bunbury. The entire treatment takes place in a "pod" complete with a rinse under warm water jets. It's a special treatment and one I'll be going back for. Definitely recommend.

I got a package for an anniversary present. I was SO excited to have it, as it was thoughtful of him. The spa was in a larger room, which was ok. The spa smelt of chlorine...more like a hottub and much less like a soaking spa with essential oils etc. The drink and snacks were a nice touch. The hot bamboo massage was divine. SO relaxing. Well, except for the fact that about 5 minutes into the whirlpool spa had a to back filter all the pipes which wasn't the most relaxing environment to be in. Then the facial. The massage table that I was put on over almost two hours was SO uncomfortable. I was flat on my back without any knee elevation offered for almost the whole entire facial until it became obvious that I was very uncomfortable It was more like the massage/physio tables that you'd see in an athletic room at a footy club. NOT a higher end massage table for clients spending good money on an afternoon at the spa. The 15 minutes while I let my mask soak in, there was no steaming offered, was supposed to be where I fell into a deep sleep. Instead I had to sit up, take the soaked eye patches off that were burning my eyes, because my back was spasming. The facial itself was average at best. They cleansed my face with what felt like gauze, it was defiantly disposable product that didn't have a nice feel. It was rushed in the beginning and wasn't relaxing...finally slowed down and then it became more relaxing. The actual facial products themselves had a very institutional smell about them, other than the mask that was put on. My mascara was not taken off, so I let with raccoon eyes. I don't think I'd go back..even for the bamboo massage.
