We had a fantastic experience with Hughes Removals. The guys they sent were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble and they immediately put our mind at rest. The move went smoothly and everything was safe and sound when it was delivered. The value for money was great too. Thanks to Hughes Removals for taking the stress out of our move.

I used Hughes Removals on 5 and 6 August 2019 and recommend them very highly. After a prompt arrival, everything was packed up most carefully and efficiently, except for the kettle and mugs, essential for the work in progress! The next day the van was filled with the utmost precision and all was moved to my new address and placed where directed. The removal men were friendly and efficient throughout, despite numerous flights of stairs, the heat and eventual rain. The service provided was excellent and amazing value for money, particularly as they had so little notice of the dates. Thank you.

Used Hughes for our recent house move. Paul initially came round to assess our property for a quote. He was friendly and provided lots of helpful information. Ruth and Sheryl were professional and responded to emails very quickly. Shane and Cliff did a fantastic job of carefully packing all our belongings the day prior to the move. Gary and Marty arrived promptly the next morning and worked extremely hard to pack everything into the removal van and unload at our new house. Hughes played a huge part in our move been hassle-free and I cannot thank them enough. Would recommend to others!

Hughes recently moved us from York to Nottinghamshire. We did the packing ourselves beforehand. The van was loaded on the first day and the team travelled down and unloaded in our new house on the second day. From getting the quote and organising the date, the office staff were friendly and obliging. The team that moved us were very respectful and really did their best to make a difficult move as easy and caring as possible. Absolutely nothing was damaged and they dealt with everything calmly and smoothly. What a great team! We are so grateful and have no hesitation in recommending them.

We have moved several times in the past and we have done everything ourselves and it has always been stressful. This time we decided to use a professional service. We could not fault anything, we found everything to run smoothly even though the removals team were running late due to a previous job taken longer than expected. My wife stayed at the old property and when she told me the men were on their way to our new property where I was. She was over the moon, she said the men removed everything with ease and highlighted the fact that they did not scratch any walls or door frames, unlike what we did moving in. They arrived and I met them, they apologised for being late, I just had to indicate where I wanted things to go. I know regret never using a removals company in the past.
