Great food but very pricey.Decor in hotel jaded in need of a face-lift.

With a little time to spare in Sidmouth, I went into the lounge to have a cappuccino, delighted to be served 2 small hotel-made biscuits with it. A very attractive lounge with fresh flowers. Highly recommended.

I only went there for a pot of tea and sat outside in the sunshine. I was so impressed with the professional and welcoming staff. I had some lovely shortbread with my tea. Just a simple and pleasant interlude in my day.

An all round wonderful experience. Excellent food. Excellent staff. Exceptional cleanliness. Will definately go back for more.

Just Wonderful. We have stayed in many 5* Hotels all over the world and the Staff here Match them by far absolutely nothing is to much trouble. It feels like a bygone era. We look forward to visiting again. Thank you all for making our short stay truly enjoyable. Jackie and Gary Robinson

Me and my wife had our 10 year wedding anniversary meal at the hotel restaurant, must give the staff a huge thank you excellent service and highly professional, food was excellent and would definitely recommend. We had the 5 course meal and all was enjoyable. Thanks again

On the very busy evening of the Airshow the only place that was happy to accommodate me and my tiny dog as walkins on their pretty terrace for a drink whilst waiting for the traffic to calm down so we could get out of the car park. Despite the fact I felt a bit scruffy for this smart hotel I was made to feel very welcome, service was prompt and with a smile. Thank you to the Manager and his team.

A lovely, classic looking hotel on Sidmouth sea front. We stopped by for a cup of the best latte coffee we've had in a while.
