Could not believe it. Homebase with a poor service. Refund counter says go to tilt and after a long stand, they could not refund. Again in the counter saying again I have to stand in a long queue. It was looking pretty rude as well.

Tina a member of management was very very rude...not helpful at all and could not even support her staff who was very willing to help. Shame on management team. They should learn from staff like Torrell who helped so much. Torrell was amazing on the other hand who went out of her way to provide exceptional service. Thank you Torrell.

Review

I'm disabled and 3 staff were at the customer service desk and no-one offered to help assist me. Even though I was clearly struggling to stand. After 10 mins I was asked if I was doing a return and pointed me to a sign saying it had to be done at the tills. Firstly that could have been said to me straight away as there were no other customers being served and secondly I went to customer service to ask for help getting the item out of my car. Unhelpful staff, more than one occasion I've experienced poor customer service from this branch.

I was in today around 1pm( 27/5/19).one staff name raj , he is very rude to the customers. And also he doesn't aware of health and safety issues. One customer bring one lawnmower and reporting that spark on the trigger switch. This guy told him there are no spark visually and told him that is safe to use. I dont know who authorized him as electrician. He is wrongly guide the junior staff too. He called junior staff name Ismail and ask him to see any spark on the trigger. He told him I am not electrician then he angry on him. He make us feel scary when he plugged faulty equipment on public place. He( *raj) is not fit to work in store like this. Or he have to take some courses regarding health and safety. ****this is safety matter ************ Finally one staff guide him and told him to approach boss before use that trigger. And explained him the reasons for spark.

Review

Overall a nice place however some staff can be patronising and rather rude. The only reason I am giving this a 5 start rating is because of the range in products and excellent customer service provided by Ben who is always ever so helpful and goes the extra mile. Also Belinda is wonderful too! Apart from these 2 members, majority are rather abrupt.
