The leisure swimming pool is huge and suitable for any age from baby to grown up. It has wave machine too. My kids enjoy it so much, one hour given is not enough. Make sure to get the life card for discount.

I only swim here but feel very safe. COVID measures in place and are enforced by staff (in a polite and friendly manner). Changing facilities are fine, with allocated cubicles and limited lockers. Everything is cleaned between sessions.

Never really had many dealings with the staff outside of the Gym but the gym facilities are very good. Locker room + showers are fine. Staff in the gym were helpful when i was first starting out and help me put together a routine and assistance with the equipment once i told them what my goals were. I did stop my Fitness Unlimited subscription when I reached 19 as it became a bit too pricey for me but well worth the money if you make the most of the other facilities, the swimming and the other perks you get with the membership.

Built for the World Student Games in 1991, Hillsborough Leisure Centre has been upgraded to a high standard over the years. Pay As You Go, or a monthly membership, you choose. With it's centrepiece of a wave leisure pool, a small pool for lane and swimming lessons and a huge gym and sports hall... plus other facilities, HLC offers good family value. Give their website a look, most sessions are booked online. One thing, they do take a while to answer the phones.

Fantastic gymnastics class taught by patient and friendly instructors. The class is calm, well organised and has a good instructor to gymnast ratio. Great facilities and parking. Very fair price. Amazing upstairs viewing area for parents. Good focus on safeguarding and gymnast safety.
