Hartwell Kidlington Super Centre – SEAT, Renault and Dacia oxford

This garage and dealership are useless. After servicing my car and informing me that the car needed a new coolant tank, I left my car with them and was given a date that the work would be completed for. With no contact, I presumed that the car would be complete. However upon arriving, my car had not even be looked at (bearing in mind they had the car for a week). Their responses were not helpful and they did not want to accept any responsibility for this, instead deciding to blame deliveries etc. You are better off finding independent garages than this place. I for one will certainly not be using again.

Red flag with this company! Bought a car, but reflected on it in the morning to decide to not go through with it. I have been robbed of my £250 deposit and have been contacting them to get this back. They are refusing the refund stating that it’s non-refundable, even though they did not state on the day that it would not be refundable. I would suggest everyone to steer clear of this place! They’ve even stated that they have spoken to a family member and had the phone put down on them! (THERE HASN’T BEEN A PHONE CALL, THIS IS A COMPLETE LIE...the management won’t even call even though it’s been said from a sales person that “a manger will be contacting you”. I want my money back. Like I’ve said I feel I’ve been robbed! Steer well clear.

Made an appointment to test drive a Seat Leon Cupra, On arrival no parking was available so had to park on the main road (not a good start) I asked a salesman who was outside if he could free up a space but was told they were already full with customers cars ?? even though cars parked with price boards in the spaces so obviously couldn't be bothered no "Love your customer and care for your company here" Go to walk in the showroom and the main doors wouldn't work so we had to go round the side maybe put a sign up? entering the showroom we were ignored for a good 10 minutes then a manager finally asked if we needed help after which appeared he was more interested in his mobile phone, we were here to see Graham for a Cupra test drive after another 10 minutes graham arrives with the manners of a small child not knowing who we were and to tell us no Cupra on site to test drive!!!!! we left the dealership with no return and have since purchased a Seat Leon Cupra. Avoid this dealership terrible service terrible people

I found it difficult to find as there was no clear obvious seat signs or flags. Very expensive for investigation into my sat navs issue

I have had several second hand cars from different garages throughout the years, Hartwell used cars is by far the best. I was kept updated with the status of the car and finance application until completion of sale. Their customer care is also second to none, special mention to Sven, a very polite and absolute professional young man, keep up the good work. Will recommend this garage to my colleagues.

My friend and I had the pleasure of meeting Alwyn at Hartwell Kidlington today. I’ve been thinking about getting a new car for some time now but still not 100% sure of what to buy. After walking around the motor park we stubbled upon a car I liked the look of. Alwyn approached us in a very friendly way and asked if he could help. Anyway, to cut a long story short, thanks to his professional manor, listening to what I wanted and not telling me what I wanted, I bought the car. It was a real pleasure to deal him. If you are thinking of changing your car Hartwell Kidlington comes highly recommended.

I brought a Range Rover Evoque for my Wife from Sven @ Hartwell. Sven made the experience as easy as possible! He was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure the car was ready and waiting for the end of the week to be taken away! Excellent service and very friendly. He is an absolute credit to Hartwell's. Thank you. Will be back in a couple years again!

Easiest car purchase I’ve ever done, and I’ve done a few!! Popped in on the off chance just to have a chat with Lewis, and he made changing my car so simple. He kept me updated with the process, and even with the fuel crisis going on made sure that I had a full tank when I collected my new car. Absolutely spot on! Cheers

Hartwell made the process of buying my first car so simple and I would not of been the easiest client to deal with. Lewis was so friendly and easy to communicate with and made my experience as stress free as possible. Would recommend him to anyone wanting to buy a new car - he was fantastic!
