I am struggling with the high reviews and ratings, though Steve was a perfect host this was to cover for the failings of an establistment that is tired and the promotion pictures are not accurate. Yes fantastic view of harbour but for £90 a night it needs to be delivering more. Chewed torn curtains, dirty carpet and sloppy bed not ideal. Breakfast a disappointment i was hoping for a recovery here one rasher of bacon, one sausage, grilled tomatoe.sadly left a sour taste for Brixham will not be returning or recommending. Better places to stay outside of Brixham and travel in for a couple of hours. Tired town, tired B & B, though host tried his best I would avoid sorry.

Just returned from a few days away and this place is really nice and cosy. Very quaint and character building with really nice people running it. Steve, the owner, is very welcoming and helpful. Nicky who does the breakfasts, is so friendly and a laugh. Just a really nice place to stay.

From check in to check out Steve and Linda were welcoming, friendly hospitable hosts. We stayed in a harbour view room, which had great views across the harbour. The whole hotel was very clean and fresh, beautifully decorated. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and delicious. Will definitely be returning, but staying longer next time, will without hesitation recommend Harbour View to family and friends.

3/ 5

Fantastic location for visiting Brixham as it’s in the harbour, it is a little expensive for what you get, plus £7 extra a day for parking can add up over a few days. The room was clean and tidy and a good size , staff were excellent, there’s a good choice at breakfast aswel I gave a rating of 3 stars, losing 1 star for parking as,for the price of the room free parking would of been good, and another star lost for the damp smell in the room I was staying in.
