Gurkha Restaurant

Me and my family ordered items from the chef's special menu, which were more pricey than others, however the quality of the food was very disappointing, in the meat dishes, the cheaper meats were far more present than prawns (with only one in my dish), for the tandoori dishes, it was obvious that they weren't cooked in an authentic tandoori over, and in the mushroom dishes, tinned mushrooms were used. On the whole, for such an expensive takeaway, the quality of the food wasn't acceptable for the price, under seasoned, cheap and tinned foods. To be honest, if the prices were lower I wouldn't be complaining, but for the price it's a rip off.

Great local curry house. Chefs specials always worth a try and we love the lemon rice.

Amazing food and wonderful staff. Anytime we have visitors, we always go there. If you're looking for authentic and delicious food you should definitely check it out.

Expensive, but worth it ... One of the best meals I've had whilst away on holiday!!

Not sure where is the best start with this place but we found 2 hairs in our curry, the cheese nan was just a bag of grated cheese with some hard bread. The curry wow wouldn’t even give it that name. I’ve had better bowls of soup. Next visit down here I’ll be staying WELL AWAY

Curry was very runny and the meat over cooked, but as the rice was quite dry it, it sort of balanced out! Paratas were absolutely soaked in oil! Far too greasy to really enjoy. At £55 for 3 people there's better Indian food elsewhere in the area!

Ordered takeaway online. Food arrived when stated, and it was absolutely delicious! Would recommend, and will be eating here again 😁

Nice restaurant. Kind of stumbled across it really. Staff are polite and welcoming, restaurant is nice and clean and the food was lovely.

Had a lovely evening with some amazing food, lovely staff and great service. Reasonably priced.
