Booking appointments are a nightmare and never reliable. Partner was scheduled for a simple filling but was rescheduled twice, the second time 15 minutes before the appointment time. It's a shame as the dentists and dental nurses themselves are brilliant and the facilities great.

I have recently completed my smile make-over with GSG and I could not be any more delighted with my new smile!! I got my teeth whitened first of all and then 6 veneers and some composite white fillings for the gaps at the bottom. I also had some older fillings replaced with whiter ones. I have always been so self conscious of my smile and now I feel so much more confident. I wish I had done this sooner. Andy and the team were great and totally put me at ease throughout the whole process. Since my smile makeover I have met my new partner and I genuinely believe this is down to my new found confidence. I cannot explain what a difference this has made in both my personal and professional life and for that I cannot thank Andy enough. For anyone thinking about cosmetic dentistry, my advice would be to go for it and make sure to go to Glasgow Smile Gallery!

It is said The theatre begins with the cloak room. I have nothing but the praise for the Smile Gallery dentists but the receptionists sometimes appear totally oblivious the concept of Customer-Service provider. I gave 24 hours cancellation notice and was verbally attacked by the receptionist telling me that 24 hours notice is not enough. When I managed to wedge a word that I only received the reminder just now for he following day, so I was cancelling immediately on receiving the reminder, I was further water-cannoned with words and among other things informed that the text-reminder to the mobile is not Smile Gallery service (which I am paying for), but "a curtesy" which didn't feel that way at all. The receptionist was adamant that the patient should not expect any text-confirmation of the appointment and this is not included in the service by the Smile Gallery. Bearing in mind that many patients are paying customers, I feel underwhelmed with the substandard customer service provided by the Smile Gallery who apparently refuse to include the text-confirmation in their service, but most of all by the attitude of the receptionist who did not show any desire or/and ability to resolve the situation amicably. I expect a receptionist to be helpful, resourceful and definitely pleasant - that was not my experience of the Smile Gallery receptionist.

Cant stop smiling after my "Smile Makeover" I have attended this great dental practice for a number of years for my routine dental care and have always been delighted with the standard of service and friendly approach. My recent treatment and whitening has been fantastic from consultation to completion and the transformation is amazing. A huge thank you to Andrew Bruce and all the team at the Smile Gallery.

5/ 5

I couldn't recommend Kevin at the Glasgow smile Gallery enough!! Having had awful experiences in the past with dentists, and my anxiety being awful, I avoided going for nearly 10 years. I was worried I'd get a 'telling off' from the next dentist I seen however it couldn't have been further from the truth! I made an appointment with Kevin and straight away I knew I was in safe hands. Kevin made sure with every treatment I had that I was relaxed and explained every every step he was taking so there was no shock by any feeling or sound. Nothing I asked was a stupid question and any fear I had he made sure to ease my mind. All the girls at reception and in the room were also super lovely! From going to 0 appointments in 10 years to 4 in in the space of 6 months, I think it's safe to say I'm over my fear and I look forward to coming back!

1/ 5

Had an appointment with this practice on the 31st of December to fill a front filling tooth I have which was chipped. The dentist there, although very friendly, decided to perform an X-ray on it, which I don't remember even being asked if I wanted that done. Following a lecture about possible decay and other issues I might face with my tooth in the future, he asked what I wanted to be done. I asked for him to fill the area at which my filling tooth had be chipped, which is why I went there in the first place. He filled the chipped part and then recommended I book another appointment with them as he believed I needed the whole filling to be replaced, I agreed with him and went up to the reception and paid 33 pounds for the filling and 65 pound for the X-ray I didn't ask for. A week later, due to I'd say sloppy work, part of the filling he applied came off. My next appointment was on the 21st of January, where I thought he'd replace the filling I already had with a new one. Instead he made a mould of my teeth and said he'd need to order the material for the new filling and that it'd take two weeks for it to arrive. He again filled the part on the front tooth that had come off due to his previous work and asked me to head to the reception and make another appointment. When I arrived at the reception I was told that their system had gone down and that I'd be getting a phone call about booking my next appointment. I was also certain that the receptionists had not noted down my contact information correctly, so I decided to give her my email (again). The same night the filling he applied for a 2nd time on my front tooth came off. The work he did was even sloppier, literally took him 4-5 minutes to perform and didn't even grind down the tooth slightly so it doesn't grind against my lower teeth. More than one month went by and no call or email or any contact. I then decided to call myself, and as I explained the situation, not only did I not get an apology or even a reason to why they never contacted me, I was rudely interrupted and asked what my date of birth was and If I could go in on the 8th of March. At this point I did feel a bit offended with this interaction but I just let it slide and said that I could go in at this date. So on the 8th March, today, I went in on our agreed appointment time to wait 15 minutes in their reception area and be told that the procedure for replacing my filled tooth would require 1.5h to be done and that they don't have the time to do so today. I asked why I wasn't informed of this and even complained about everything that had happened previously. No apology, just a rude reply saying that they did call me, text me and email me to inform me about not being able to perform the procedure today. I hadn't gotten any call , text or email. Turns out they had my phone number and email noted down incorrectly. Very funny, as I knew this was a case and had given her colleague receptionist my correct email during my previous visit !! No apology again. She just asked if I could go in on the 15th March or the 18th of March. I accepted. However, I was so dissatisfied with their attitude, and still am, so I decided to call and cancel everything all together. How am I supposed to trust them if they can't even write down my name and number down correctly? OVERALL - My wallet is 100 pounds down and my chipped tooth was never fixed. The dentist seemed like a pleasant and intelligent man, however I do feel like he'd do more than what is asked or required to benefit the practice financially from his patients. Bit unethical I would say. The receptionists hands down the worst that can be placed in that position. Rude and in my opinion not very good at their job. Thankfully, there's lots of other dental practices in Glasgow which I'm sure are better. I recommend you try them and definitely steer clear from this one.
