Only 1 star yes, but not reviewing the establishment which is great, always spotless and busy which is a good sign, huge menu, friendly staff, but only getting one star because on my last visit I bought some Singapore noodles and dear oh dear they were awful they just cant make them sauce was awful and lacked a fair meat content, anyone familiar with the term blind scouse will know what I mean, I'll still be going back though for a cant go wrong dinner kebab

Serves traditional fish shop and Chinese dishes. Very popular with locals but it has to be said that the freshly cooked fish & chips was somewhat on the greasy side and lacked flavour, even with salt added (though it might have been better left to drain for a few minutes). The standard, however, was probably on a par with most neighbourhood chippies and the staff were both friendly and helpful.

Do a bit of everything but always good. Going once a week for 10 or more years and never had to complain

This is the best chippy in Liverpool. Has everything you want in a chippy and is always spotlessly clean. Most important of all, the chips are cooked perfectly.

Hands down the best chippy in liverpool! The food is fresh and delicious, the staff and management are so friendly. The fish is cooked to order and the Chinese meals are amazing. My go to place. Just read the review below mine I’ve Been going here for years and I know they don’t do any online orders it’s all in shop or by calling, so I can’t understand why somebody would leave a 1 star review over an online ordering system that doesn’t exist ??

I went in tonight for 2 fish dinners. I can’t fault. Absolutely amazing - the fish was cooked in front of you. It says in the window we don’t do fast food, we do food as fast as we can. It’s the cleanest chippy in Liverpool. Very surprised in how clean it was especially with how busy it was but it’s kept on top of. I’ll definitely be returning. Also, staff are very friendly!

Placed an order online, went to collect it and was told they recieved no order. We recieved payment confirmation-money left our bank account. Ended up with no food or no refund. Left with the situation of having paid for food and recieved nothing!!! We were provided with the offer that they would prepare our order but we would have to pay again! I feel very disappointed and upset of how this has been handled, especially as money is hard earned and limited with Christmas approaching. **As I can't reply to the comment from yourselves. The website must have been live, we were able to access it and place an order. I feel that you may need to look into how we were able to do that if the website is not meant to be live until the New Year?! I cannot grasp how this would be our problem as a customer placing an order. We did show proof that the order was placed and that the funds left our bank account. Also I feel that it is a bit strange how I have just tried to access the website just now and it is now saying that I can't access the server 🤔

We’ve been at Crosby for the day (Sunday) and found this place was one of the only fish and chip shops open nearby. Glad we did! Best fish and chips this side of Halifax! And the staff were absolutely lovely. Would recommend A*
