Quick service and really lovely staff, couldn't recommend this place more!

Top quality service from the moment we entered the shop. My daughter's Apple lap top had just stopped working after 9 years with all her university work onboard - (Apple shop said 'time you bought a new one' but hinted her old one could be mended but not by them - as it was considered obsolete). Curry's directed us to Gadgets.... and the rest is history. Not only did they fix it within 24 hours but the price was reasonable, considering we were directed to purchase a new one by Apple. Barry, the owner of GF told us exactly what he was going to do and explained everything in detail, giving me and my daughter 'peace of mind'. Whilst we were in the shop we witnessed others coming in with broken and smashed iPhones, only to be walking out 15/20 minutes later with happy faces as their telephones were yet again fixed and working at a reasonable price. Barry was very good with the young people coming in with broken devices, knowing how upsetting and stressful this can be to people, and he would tell them not to worry that this problem was fixable - putting their mind at ease. Can't thank him enough. Good businessman

GadgetFix was able to repair my MacBook which had moderate water damage. Apple quoted an excessive sum of £600 to resolve the issue by replacing the motherboard. However GadgetFix was able to repair the MacBook by replacing the components that was actually damaged; the total price came to a third of what Apple quoted. Very satisfied with the repair, definitely the best store for repairs!

Incompetent or liars? You decide! I took my laptop with a keyboard fault to these people on 29/11. No other issues. The owner, Barry, is one of these people that likes to talk the talk but in truth his patter doesn't make up for the obvious fact that nobody there is capable of doing anything beyond a simple repair or screen replacement. Despite being promised updates via the 'tracker', I had to chase them to be told the laptop needed a part that wouldn't be delivered until 9/12. Fair enough I thought. 9/12 came and went- no update. A couple of days later I chased them via phone and the owner said he'd chase the delivery as it was late. Hardly proactive customer service! This is when it gets really weird. On 15/12 I was told via text that my laptop keyboard was repaired and that it was ready for collection. I turned up and lo and behold, the laptop was there. Without the charger that I had dropped off with it. Barry made a song and dance of how he would find the charger and how I should come back later that day- he'd text me he said. Later that day came and no text. Once again, I chased this store and was told that the laptop wouldn't be ready that day. Turns out they had lost my charger and had to order a new one in! Okay, mistakes happen I thought. Left it at that. A couple days later, I chased again (top-notch customer service on display again). Here I'm told that there is a new problem with the laptop- it won't turn on and they have no idea how to fix it! But hey, not to worry because although they've lost my charger, they have ordered a new one in just for me. By now, it was time to cut my losses so I collected the laptop on 19/12. The keyboard had been fixed but : a) The power button did not function (thanks a lot) b) The laptop will only turn on if plugged into a mains (turns on automatically without power button) c) The laptop will turn on only after multiple attempts at switching off at the mains and turning back on (what they've done to the laptop I have no idea) d) A few days later, I realised that the laptop will now randomly turn off even when plugged in. e) Cosmetic tearing which has been 'repaired' with what looks like superglue f) Missing rubber grips at the base of the laptop All this for £80 and having my laptop for more than 3 weeks. Barry was once again trying to talk himself out of any responsibility by blaming Microsoft and the 'schematics' not being publicly available (he really loves that word). I handed a laptop in with a non-functioning keyboard and was given back an almost useless product. It beggars belief that a company like this thinks of itself as a reputable business. I would recommend anyone and everyone to stay away from these cowboys.

I gave my laptop in for repair and found the company were informative and professional over the pandemic. The hard drive was replaced and the data was recovered. I have since brought my brothers iPhone in and the fixed the screen and the battery. Both jobs were quickly completed at reasonable prices which compare to other stores gadgets fix were outstanding. I trusted them with 2 repairs and they get top marks. While I was there waiting for the iPhone I found other customers were also delighted with their repairs. I had to wait an hour and noticed it was really busy. I am used to going to other stores and found going to gadgets fix I felt at ease as other places were small and dingy compared to other venues. Gadgets fix gave me receipts on both occasions with the details of my repairs which were duplicated on a sticker on both my repairs. I would recomend this company to other people

Took them a demolished iPhone 12 Pro Max which I never thought would see the light of day again and they did a spot on job repairing both the front screen and the back along with other damage, Would definitely recommend

Gadgets fix fixed my laptop same day needed a fan and thermal paste and a spring clean. Good choice quick speedy fix. with warranty and a smile. Went back to university with a smile on my face. The company booked me in 10am and by 12 I was back at uni zooming. Wow great work boys. I got student discount and warranty

Absolutely fantastic!! So professional and lovely my phone had been smashed but now back to full working order to an amazing standard and with in 3 hours. Thank you again xx
