I passed yesterday and seen an item in the window I was interested in so I went in and asked for it to be reserved for me till today. Yesterday, the staff member was pleasant enough and told me he'd hold the item for me. I just went in and was greeted with a nasty attitude from the English staff member in there today, telling me the item was scrap and the guy had no right to sell it/hold it for me ! I asked/said 'scrap' ? His attitude was bordering on the hostile side of things......'it doesn't matter what happened to it, it's not here, it's gone'.... I recommended that he train his staff a bit better on what is for sale and what is not for sale. Poor show for a charity shop.

Found it a bit strange that staff were doing the "minimum £5 purchase" of else I would have to pay cash. Thought public health guidelines were encouraging use of contactless payments? A bit disappointed. And when I eventually got my purchases to the "minimum £5" the manager would not accept payment by card because he had just done the Z closure and asked me to withdraw cash from the ATM. How convenient. 🙄

Waited a month for my items to be collected only to be rejected by some very odd collection staff, perfectly good table and chairs going on Facebook market place instead, suggest you do the same and save yourselves some time and effort.

I've been to this charity shop a few times but tend to avoid it due to the rude staff that work here. Quite often items are just placed in the shelves and not priced, when you ask someone on a price you usualy get shouted at (not for sale) they would say, but then why is it out on the shelves in the first place. Most of the time you can buy better quality new than the trashed goods in this shop. They let people into the shop without face masks not putting into consideration customer safety before profits.
