Every Body has right to stupidity but some people abuse the privilege. I gave them my details to register with them and contacted them by phone and NHS email only to find out a year and two month later that they did not register me . How would I trust them to look after the public health if they are unable to deal with a simple admin stuff. The reception is stupid and rude.

As a previous reviewer stated, if I could get through on the phone I'd give a better review. Face to face, staff and doctors are lovely, but it is thoroughly marred by the awful day-to-day appointment system - I literally cannot get an appointment, calling daily at 8am, the online service doesn't appear to allow bookings, and going in doesn't get you time either, unless it's extra important. It's been weeks and I'm disappointed.

Receptionists rude? They have been nothing but wonderful in the 5 years my family have been there........admittedly it is getting harder to get aptmts BUT it is bedlam here in plymouth since it has been becoming bigger and bigger by the mother so more people and not enough surgeries to cope! The drs are stretched to their limits and again...... it isn't their fault. I have complex medical issues and have been so well looked after at Beaumont and so have my children. Things are not always black and white. Big thankyou to Beaumont villas. You saved my life xxx

All the staff are very polite but it is impossible to get them to answer the phone. Last two days I stayed 1.5 hours on the queue and no answer at all. Really hard to get an appointment, I do not recommend this surgery!

5/ 5

Had to have emergency surgery for a Pilonidal Sinus at Derriford, ended up with quite severe symptoms as a result of either a pre-existing condition or an allergic reaction to the general anaesthetic which has required daily appointments with the nurses as part of my after care. The GP that saw me 2 days after my surgery noticed immediately that something was wrong with me and promptly put me on O2 and called for an ambulance. She also came and caught up with me in the waiting room once I was out of hospital to see how I was feeling. The nurses have been brilliant in dealing with a particularly difficult, delicate and uncomfortable area to pack and bandage and for that I am very thankful. Yes it can be arduous to get an appointment, but when Devon is short of something like 60 GPs and the NHS is being underfunded what do you expect? A lot of the reviews of this practice have anger directed towards the staff members when it should be aimed at the politicians pulling the rug out from underneath patients and NHS employees.
