After reading reviews I was anticipating a rough experience but I got all the info I needed from the very helpful lady on the phone, which meant I didn't even have to make an appointment at the Consulate after all. UPDATE: My first in-person visit to the Consulate (for a different matter) and I was very impressed; Very welcoming staff, and efficient & friendly service. I was seen promptly, my paperwork was explained very clearly and it was all done much quicker than I was expecting.

Don't even try to call them, no one is taking the phone call, they will only tell you that you need to email them on their ambassy website. They don't even propose a service to renew your documents such as passport, driving licence or ID documents... I haven't seen a place so unhelpful since I needed those service there, they only helped me out with my 'procuration' documents to vote and still the papers were not send properly and I had to come back to tell them ...

This isnt a poor rating in relation to the ambassy workers rather than for the level of services offered. Never seen an ambassy with so little. Forget about passports, CI etc anything that matters need be done in London. Compare that to any other ambassy of even much smaller countries and this looks ridiculous almost.
