Charles Wood & Sons oxford

Moved my parants recently which can be stressful, but Charles wood & sons were fantastic. From the initial quote to the move it was fabulous and stress free, on removal day nothing was too much they were really efficient and careful with everything. I would definitely recommend to anyone.

i had to deal with a really difficult situation, but these guys were the bomb. Extra special thanks to the govnor Mr Wiggins, always ready to answer queries, and so helpful and friendly. this is no amateur operation,. whatever you entrust to their care is safe here.

Very unprofessional service and at this point wouldn't recommend to anyone. Items damaged, items not assembled properly (left screws and etc. shoved in drawers they didn't want to put on), writing on a wardrobe with black permanent marker for reassembly, left their breakfast rubbish on the floor, used our personal items like tools and stepladders to do their job. One member of staff didn't seem like they wanted to do anything and when did was very rough with items. Very stressful and frustrating and so far in regards to getting resolved not getting anywhere serious...

The team who did the move were great. However, they had a mishap that resulted in damage to a piece of furniture. They apologized and told us to get in touch with their boss. The location of the damage made meant that it was not visible, so with all the busyness of a move we never got around to contacting the office. If I had received an email apology, I would have rated them 4*.

I can't thank the team enough for their help with my mother's house move recently. Although she was only moving locally it wasn't an easy move, there was lots of stuff left unpacked and 2 lorries of stuff that went in opposite directions. They managed everything wonderfully, everything ended up where we wanted it to be and the guys even unpacked and repacked a whole storage unit to fit everything in, which I felt was above and beyond. They helped make what was a very stressful day a little bit less stressful with their calm and efficient manner and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.

Absolutely abysmal customer service. I had it confirmed by two eye-witnesses that they packed a certain number of items which were not among the belongings returned to me after a month in storage. No help in locating these whatsoever is forthcoming from them after weeks of back-and-forth emails. The damage I incurred from this must be around £250.
