No air conditioning in the rooms! Stayed in a superior room which was baking hot, uncomfortably hot on a cloudy day in August, I kind of expect air con when staying in a nice hotel these days.. No fridge in the room either so no cold drinks. We enjoyed our stay but felt a little underwhelmed by the accommodation...

When I asked for a refund due to them closing they've said: The terms and conditions of your booking advise that in exceptional circumstances such as these we reserve the right to offer an alternative resort as a destination, date of stay or cancel a reservation. We are providing alternative dates of stay and being flexible with those dates. We are remaining consistent whereby we are not offering a refund. I am very sorry for any disappointment this may cause. On their website it actually says RESERVATIONS Book with confidence: Spa days and stays booked after 1st June 2020, for arrivals between 31st July – 31st December 2020 are fully refundable in the event of our resorts having to close due to Covid-19 restrictions. I was meant to go today so why won't you refund me. Even trading standards have told me I'm in the right and I've told them this. Guess what! They've still said no

I've seen the reviews here and I think until you have been you can't judge. So spas are never going too cheap. We had a 2-night stay with treatments l found the staff very welcoming the food was very well presented and tasted excellent. Some things on the menu are extra I certainly go back again. The room was clean bed was comfortable. All this comes at a price but in the end, it is a treat.

Nice, safe and clean grounds. Wasn't keen on the lunch included, fairly bland and not great for vegan or vegetarians. Not enough beds at the poolside to relax. The bike service was good and fun. The changing facilities were okay, toilets were clean. Staff were friendly. Needs a bit more updating.
