The walled garden and cafe are run by volunteers, the garden is beautiful and the cafe lovely with inside and outside tables. The food and drink are low priced and very good. Further into the park are sports facilities, a large child and family area, this being dog free although dogs are free to roam and sniff elsewhere. The lake is surrounded by paths, favoured by duck feeders 😊, well worth a visit!

The Walled Garden is a lovely area in Central Park. We have visited before but unfortunately on Easter Saturday we visited as a family with my daughters and grandsons. Upon changing my 6 month old grandson, my daughter described the baby changing table as the most disgusting she had ever used. She had to fully clean it just use it. Such a shame that the amenities are not kept up to scratch as it is such a lovely peaceful area. Hopefully things will improve. The only let down in a great family park

It's a peaceful place to enjoy the good weather with your choice of hot or cold drink and snack, sat on the benches.... It's just a shame that some kids ruin it for others at times.... Safe is fantastic, food it Decent....
