Unfortunately had to visit today with a burn injury , upon arriving I was greeted by very pleasant reception staff who booked me in. Very clean environment. I was quickly called into Triage by Doug. What a great guy ! Easy to talk to , great knowledge and very informative. The care received was on par with a private hospital. Keep up the great work Doug, your positive attitude is a blessing to anyone who is in need šŸ™. Thank you !

I have used the walk in centre twice in 2 years both for minor injuries. Brilliant staff, obviously they are busy and sometimes there is a long wait but that is the same for all NHS A&E places. Parking is cheaper and easier than the BRI so if it's between 8am and 8pm this place is a better option

Rude doctor or nurse not sure who she was. I've had a back problem that got really bad over a week. Decided to go here as my doctors is far away and thought I should check nothing serious. The rudest and aggressive woman. Told me I had to the wrong place, I apologised and she continued to ask me a few questions. I told her I had it detoriate over a week, said nothing we can do for you and I quote she said ā€˜ I have the same problem and I have a stand up desk and take Ibprofenā€™ without examining me looking at my history or anything so how does she have the same problem? I started crying because of how dismissive she was being and she made me feel. She said impatiently why are you crying? And told me pretty much it was my fault because I hadn't approached the problem properly. Overall my worst initial chat with a doctor. I understand that I may not have followed the right procedure etc... But there's no need to behave like that especially to people who are there with a problem regardless of her opinion. Reception were lovely on the other hand.

Won't see me as triage only. Issue that is causing me serious distress but nope nothing will be done at all. Told to come back the next day, wonderful, I will just there be pus everywhere and put up with it even more. What does it actually take for someone to take people seriously?! I feel like I want to take a knife to myself to sort it out and yet my distress is ignored completely. As useless as my doctors surgery who also won't do a thing.
