Though we reached there at 5 pm when shops were closing however the summer sun and the great architecture of this place made our visit worthwhile. You can spend hours at stretch here appreciating the sea from deck. Click pictures sitting on benches with 360 degree view of the sea and of do a lot of shopping !!

A great place which is usually buzzing with people, especially during good weather! The pier looks and feels old, but is still a welcoming and cool place to go. The theme park on the end is great too, a range of rides with different intensities, great for all ages.

Make sure you visit this bustling attraction for the slots, entertainment, food and drink. Makes your traditional British holiday complete. Or you could visit just to watch the diverse range of lovely people pass by as you sit and enjoy an ice cream in the sun.

This is a rating of 1 Star, for the few horrible tourists, and 5 Star for the many more great ones and the pier itself. It's an essential visit to Brighton, or to any British sea side town. It's long and there is lots to see and do. Don't expect high class entertainment - it's a classic British pier, loud, brash, cheeky, fun. Don't miss it.

Coming from Southern California and having pretty much awesome beaches and piers this was such a unique place to visit, but certainly not a soft sandy beach area. The "beach" is made of pebbles/rocks which is the first for me to experience anything like it and the water was surprisingly pleasant. A little over an hour to get to from London, but such a fun drive if you get off the M. Watching people painfully walk to the water with their shoes off is quite the sight! The pier was cute. Paid parking was easy to find and walking around was fun/safe! Not overcrowded which is always a big plus :D

Walking up the Pier was a pleasure, nice and clean, little gift shops, ice-creams, amusements and seating looking out over the sea. At the end of the pier was a good size fun fair which was nice and busy. The sun was shining and happily many of the slot machines were the 2p kind - just what I love 😁

A very nice place to visit, it got everything that you need for a day out or even a seaside holiday, there’s an amusement park, an arcade on the pier which added lots of fun to our visit, my kids love it. It’s really nice to have a stroll along the pier. The only thing I don’t like is the sea gulls, it snatched my ice cream while I was looking at the beautiful sea view. 😂

Beautiful time out. As a wheelchair user who self propels I have to say it is wobbly wood and long.

Beautiful time out. As a wheelchair user who self propels I have to say it is wobbly wood and long. I had fun however, best day this year so far. Thanks to everyone who actually acknowledged me and even better, the people who are totally amazing and made certain that I arrived at the correct stop to bring me home. Thank you so much.

4/ 5

An excellent place to include in your Brighton day trip. Historical interests and information boards as well as very active arcades with plenty to win. Rides at the end are well run. Only reason for not 5 stars is that you need to be very careful where you tread, the age of the planking that makes up the pier makes for a bumpy ride!
