Recently joined and have had three appointments. All were easy to make, staff were all lovely. Really efficient and easy to park nearby. Place is clean, busy and a mixture of people. You can also book online once you have set up. Joined as recommended by a family member who also has had really good experiences here.

Genuinely dreadful surgery. Have been with them for many years and have raised two official complaints during this time (one of which they totally ignored). Didn't take my temperature when I came in 4 days after emergency c section saying I felt unwell and had severe stomach pains (ended up admitting myself to hospital 4 hours later with a 39c fever and staying 3 more days in hospital with a serious infection). Appointments are never available unless you are one of the lucky few who get through at 8.30 am and manage to convince one of the receptionists that you are sick enough to warrant their attention. Currently trying to get an appointment to have the rash on my 9 week old baby's face looked at. Have been told to call tomorrow and "hopefully" they will be able to see me.

PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER YOUR CHILDREN AT THIS GP SURGERY. I have been a patient at malago surgery since I was registered here as a baby. I have rarely needed to see a doctor and when I have I have experienced long wait times for appointments or an inability to get through as most reviews on here will attest to. However my eyes were opened to how dismal this practice has become in the last year since my wife fell pregnant and had our first baby. The inablity of the staff to read notes and update records is frankly shocking. I have experienced incorrect prescriptions being written multiple times thoughout my wife's pregnancy for vital medication that could have been detrimental to my wife and our unborn child. Thankfully these mistakes were noticed by us and rectified. Interestingly the pharmacist at malago holds everybody else accountable but himself. Since the birth of our child it has been near impossible to get scheduled appointments that our health visitor has requested. To make matters worse when we needed a slightly more urgent appointment for our 8 week old child we had to call 2 days in a row to get an appointment even though we called at 8:30 as recommended. Both days our calls were not answered for almost an hour each day, only to be told there were no appointments on that given day. As a father I find this unacceptable as things can escalate quickly with newborns and should be treated as a priority. In closing, my pets get better treatment at our local vets than our newborn gets at our local GP.
