Brasserie Blanc oxford

Lovely welcome.. Staff well presented. Ordered Irish coffee, apple and pear crumble. Irish coffee very nice but unfortunately they didn't warm the whiskey.. Luke warm is fine but I assumed this place would have the 'WOW' factor. Crumble is very good. I'm almost in the WOW zone. No check back from staff. That's a negative for me. I came here as it proudly advertises a big name on the door. Because of that I hope for near perfection. Almost but not quite. If my Irish coffee was hotter and better presented and your staff asked how my order was I would have been in heaven Raymond.

Went here for a Christmas party with partners work place. The service was excellent, the food was excellent. It may have something to do with the fact Raymond Blanc was there that night but credit where credit is due not one member of the party was unimpressed with the standard, one of which is a chef ( not a microwave technician). Raymond himself visited the table to see how everything was which was great in itself. Looking online at the menus, it is reasonably priced and we will definitely return. Thanks BB and of course RB.

We went on a Friday evening in Oxford. I had to call ahead to put the table back to 9pm as running late from Cambridge. We arrived and asked if we could have a drink at the bar but was told no so went straight to table. I guess because we arrived late it was a bit rushed however we are still paying customers for the food and service. The food was mediocre at best, again it could have been because we were later however not acceptable if you accept a customer. My husband ordered the pistachio soufflé and it was disappointing. We did mention it to the waitress and she told us she knew it was the last one of the night and was going to tell us however she didn’t so it was ordered and it was awful. They did take it off the bill however the fact she knew it was of a poor standard but still served it is very disappointing. On another point, the ladies loo was dirty, the sink area was flooded and the loo was missing it’s lid and was dirty. It’s such a shame as we were really looking forward to going as reviews were good actually so disappointed that was not our experience. We were only here a weekend getaway so will not be returning to see if it was just a bad night.

Staff and food looks great. Tasted even better Cheese souffle was amazing and highly recommended. Belly pork amazing too and the cheese board was one of the best I've had. And I've had a few.

Wonderful hospitality matched with amazing dishes. Visiting Oxford for a couple of days and decided to try here. On a rainy Friday evening we had a lovely spot for two sitting by the window watching the world go by. After sharing a simple starter of baguette with dips (far removed from your standard dips) I opted for the pheasant main and the OH had steak. Beautiful flavours and presentation. But save room for desserts! Blackcurrant pavlova (with chefs own marshmallows-a delight!) And pear and apple crumble, again the flavours were just the best! Along with such friendly staff, this made for a really enjoyable dining experience.

Lovely atmosphere though a bit noisy. Service on the whole very good. Starters very good; main course (turkey dinner) was lacking in quantity for the men; requested more gravy/juice which was brought. Cheese board excellent; coffee good.

First time of visiting one of Raymond Blancs restaurants, and after the meal we had look forward to visiting his other restaurants.

Great food.. beetroot salad followed by sea bass... beautiful..in a chef so hats off to you..Alex.Narbonne..my best waiter...I felt I was in a London Restaurant..service professional..approach .with all of you as well perfect..see you soon...

Absolutely fantastic - one of the best places in Oxford for a delicious French cuisine. I was suggested Brasserie Blanc by one of our neighbours in Oxford who told that it's their favorite place. After deciding to dine in here, my wife and I finally came here for lunch. The starter + main course menu is £ 20, and the food is really excellent. The ambience is also amazing and the staff are extremely friendly. Although the price is a bit on the expensive side, but the incredible food and service justify the price. Two items I would definitely recommend here are 1. Mediterranean Fish soup, and 2. Duck leg. Both of them are absolutely fantastic !!! ❤️

Excellent service delivered by well trained and friendly staff. Limited list offering quality reasonably price wines. Excellent food and extremely good value for money 😊
