Visited here with my family this weekend. The museum was pretty quiet and there were only a few other people in there at the same time. This allowed us more time to look at all the different exhibitions and rooms. The transport section is very good as was most of the other areas. The houses on the street, which is dated in 1970s was excellent. The highlight of the day was a live demonstration of a gentleman working in the iron works. He gave an excellent insight into how this trade was done before modern machines and factories. Also he made us a nail which he put my daughter’s initials on. This is a free museum, I would of paid to visit here. Free parking and tour map. Spent about 2 hours here. Could of been longer if I read all the information on each exhibit. Definitely worth a visit back in time to see what it was like in Bradford industrial days.

A hidden gem if you would like to see and learn about industry back in the day, with many locally made factory machines. Also a nice collection of vehicles, including trams, a steam engine, many cars and commercial vehicles. The onsite blacksmith was demonstrating how iron nails were made. Might not be that engaging for young kids though.

Great place with lots of machines and vehicles to see, participate Jowett motor cars. Steam engine Nellie as well. First floor houses lots of machinery from the textile industry plus there are houses set up in several different eras to look at. Great for a wander round to understand some of Bradford's history. Recommend checking if our when some of the machinery will be running for best experience

Great, the blacksmith was in full swing. Changed in the last few years, much more professional. Gone are laminated A4 around the place and it feels more like a museum. Well done and a pleasant day was had.
