Unhappy with the results given from the Trainee GP, didn't test me sufficiently like the other doctors have always done for me. Prescribed me antibiotics without even doing a sample which should mandatory. Only asked me maybe 2 questions. Either forgot or just didn't answer the main question about what I'm suffering from.

I have recently read many many reviews of patients from all parts of the country criticising their local GPs surgery for different reasons. The majority of the the criticism is aimed at the receptionists who without doubt have the hardest job. May i take this opportunity to defend these ladies who have to make difficult and sometimes unpopular decisions amongst patients and then face the abuse if an appointment is not possible that day for any amount of reasons beyond their control. For my own part i can only comment on my local surgery with whom following a cardiac arrest i have been under constant care for over 2 years. The receptionists are polite, friendly, and helpful, the doctors i have seen are totally approachable, and attenttive everything a good doctor should be. This should be the benchmark for elsewhere

I had concerns about my elderly mother entering the surgery because of Covid 19. The practice nurse Hedda took my mother's blood pressure, and changed her dressing in the surgery car park, through pouring rain, and in good spirit. Many thanks!

4/ 5

I have been with this practice for about 18 years; I have several long term conditions so I have a few comments. The electronic appointment system is good and I usually get in within a few days after booking on the web. I have found the doctors to be professional and careing people although they are often stretched in the limited 10 minute slots they have. The treatment is usually very effective. I would give five stars for this. My main critique is for the dipensary: I have regular medication which I need for life - it does not change very often, but every time I have to go in to collect medicenes, I am quized like a 9 year old about the payment for the mediation. - totally fed up wth this. I pay for a certificate every year - whats the problem? I have overheard other people in there colection medication, Its not just me, -its the way they speak to people in a patronising "I know best " attitude.. It would not hurt to be more pleasent to your customers. Hence four stars overall.

Used to be a good surgery not anymore not very eager to help in a crisis and I was sent a very rude email from the dispensary . I have contacted CQC ( the health and care regulator) and the health authority for their help in the situation I find myself in
