Boots Opticians brighton

Wanted Boots to change the lenses in my own frames. Had to pay the full cost of new frames and lenses due to company pricing policy. Hardly fair and reasonable. Deserves only one star!

Made an appointment for my boyfriend as he hadn’t been to the opticians in a few years. Staff were very questioning of my presence at the eye test. Was especially disappointed at seeing the optician speaking to another member of staff from behind a clipboard whilst pointing at us in the main reception area. Will not be returning.

Had to have an emergency appointment and was squeezed in within hours. Cannot praise the staff highly enough. Professional and very friendly

Decided to switch providers away from Boots as I had a lot of problems with my contact lense by post account and they put prices up by 50%. Also had a couple of contact lense checks with what appeared to be trainees. Used to be a Dolland and Aitcheson customer but all went downhill when they were bought out by Boots....

Went in today for my first ever eye test- ended up needing glasses- and this lovely lady, unfortunately cant remember her name, spent about 40 minutes helping me find a pair when I was absolutely clueless, she was so helpful and even got other people to give their opinions as I was stuck. Thank you :)

Friendly, efficient staff who were very kind in helping my daughter resolve a contact lens problem

They put two different size glasses in the frame and then denied this was an issue.
