I’ve not stayed here personally, but my son son treated me to lunch and a treatment at the a joining spa to the hotel. Our spa experience was fabulous. Especially the two lady’s who gave us our back neck and shoulder treatment. I didn’t catch there names unfortunately. Outstanding service and will definitely be booking again. Thank you lady’s we left feeling very relaxed 😌

Booked a 1 night stay, made use of the Spa (a reasonable size and well controlled on numbers using it at any one time). The standard room was ideal for a couple. Though word of warning if you’re positioned on the 1st floor, the outdoor air conditioning/extractors makes for a sleepless night! Reception and staff friendly. The Marco’s restaurant was nice, good choice and ambience.

There was a few things that we found disappointing. The cleanliness of the leisure facilities changing rooms were terrible dirty towels and robes and empty glasses and bottles everywhere, at least 20 towels! there was also a lot of mould growing around the area and the floor was quite dirty. We were also turned away first time around as the pool was full capacity but he did give us a coffee for the inconvenience. We went in for our dinner as our voucher included dinner the waiting staff told us we could have any main of the set menu including the butchers steak. When out bill came it was £37 which we aren't very happy with to be honest as we were charged and extra £3.75 for chips each plus a service charge !! If a voucher includes an overnight stay with dinner. A steak on its own with 3 tomatoes and no side is not a dinner and this should have been explained to us as we didn't expect to spend this much money and have came away quite disappointed and also very hungry. I was also charged nearly £7 for cheese and biscuits which was 5 stale crackers and 1 choice of cheese which I think is extortionate!! During breakfast my bacon and coffee was also stone cold and I actually had a used knife left for me to use which made me feel sick so I left all my breakfast. We have left quite upset but didn't want to say anything on check out as didn't want to cause a scene. But I felt I needed to email to tell you as the voucher brought for us still retails well over £100 and we don't feel like we got our moneys worth as it wasn't one of the discounted vouchers off wowcher and your room prices are only around £60 a night so we don't feel we got very good value for money to be honest as we still had to spend a fair bit once we arrived.

Worse spa experience I’ve ever had. 10 of us ladies here right now for my relaxation spa hen weekend.. didn’t even spend 10 minutes in the spa, two children around 7 yr old splashing around in the jacuzzi so non of us could go in, men dive bombing the pool the walkway around the pool was absolutely lethal my mum very nearly fell over.. wedding group drunk in the lounge area and basically taking over… what should be a relaxing hen stay has turned out to be a total let down.. so disappointed

We stayed here on Saturday night there was a wedding on thought it would be noisy but it wasn't. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Went to the pool Saturday night and Sunday morning steam room working. The bed was comfy. Will stay again. We were going to Donington park so it wasn't far away from about ten minutes.
