Great restaurant with delicious food. Staff are great too- an authentic piece of Italy in the Moretonhampstead- the gate to Dartmoor. Bring your own alcohol for free but remember to take your empty bottle home. Love it!

Popped in, as we were staying in the hotel next door. What a brilliant little find. Attentive waiting staff, friendly and kind. Great antipasto and main courses. It’s BYOB which we didn’t know before turning up, although a night off the booze wasn’t a bad thing!

All right, I ordered for takeaway since the website states open for takeaway only. This wasn't the case, people were dining inside. Carbonara was a mess, so salty and greasy couldn't even eat. Lasagna was a small portion, greasy again and not even close to the pictures online. The pizza, well, it was okay'ish, looks awful but at least didn't end up in the bin like the rest of the menu. Disappointed. Can't believe all those 5 star reviews or is this the difference between eat in or take away?

Friendly, chilled, lovely and cozy restaurant. Was recommended by my Airbnb host. The pizza is amazing! A must try when visiting Devon. And the waiter Ollie was very attentive.

We were absolutely blown away by Berto's Pizza. Literally, the best pizza we have ever had. There are many reasons to visit Moretonhampstead, but this one tops them all. Absolutely gobsmacked that this guy doesn't have a chain. Visit Berto's! You will not be disappointed.

Is it the best pizza that I have ever had? No. But did it hit the spot? Yes. This place is so cosy and nice. It has a real community vibe going and the staff are so nice. The pizza feels authentic and the whole place is simply lovely! I will definitely be going back soon and a would definitely recommend it. It is for sure some if the best food you can get locally.

The waiter who took our order was friendly and its open late night on Sunday, that was the only good side of our experience. The take away pizza we ordered was bland and lacked flavour, the pizza base and garlic bread was not good either. I am really surprised by the good reviews, maybe they keep different standards for the locals and the tourists?

Amazing authentic and great value Italian experience with a proper chef from Roma. What can I say, the pizza is the real deal, the pasta is sublime and the salads genuinely tasty. To too it all the service is faultless and super friendly, I've been here 3 times now and happy to drive an hour off route to eat here!
