I did the course at the beginning of this year, it was the best 15 weeks. You learn everything that you need to know to get you started in the industry in each module, and also very exciting and fun. All the tutors are so lovely and helpful and the director Melanie Crump is the cherry on top! I recommend it highly and would do it all over again if I could.

I loved every minute of my time at BAMM and would recommend it to anybody considering training in this field. Talk about making learning fun! As an added bonus, the door is always open, which is massively appreciated, and I'm so grateful for the continued support. Thank you.

I cannot recommend more highly the experience that I had at BAMM. The course is a fantastic start into the make up industry. The course ran so smoothly and covered so many areas that it has been invaluable experience. Mel has so many contacts in the industry that she is happy to put her students in contact with and she strives to find employment after the course for everyone. In 2019 I decided to make a career change from teaching hairdressing & beauty therapy, to being out in industry, as a hair & makeup artist. It had always been a dream, but I wanted to make it my reality. So, I looked for a course which could offer me the training & support to make that change. In 2020, I joined Bath Academy of Media Makeup on the Peter Swords King Film & Television Hair & Makeup Course; it has been the best decision I have ever made. The team at BAMM were amazing, & so supportive; especially considering we were dealing with a global pandemic, which had a massive impact on what we could do. But Mel, Stacey & Peter lead us through that difficult time & in October I finally completed my course. I have learnt so much, from so many of the fabulous tutors on the course. If you are serious about going into the industry, & becoming a hair & makeup artist, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to you. Since graduating from BAMM, I have already made leads into the industry & worked on several projects, including a TV pilot, a feature film, some open-air theatre & a music video. I just wanted to personally thank Bamm in particular Melanie and Stacey who are at the helm of the academy. Thank you so much for everything from start to finish on the course. You have been amazingly kind and so supportive throughout and have honestly changed my life for the better. I’m so grateful to of met you both and to of been able to attend your academy and get the chance to make some lifelong friends. I have been trying to book a taster course for years. One eventually fell on a date I would be free so immediately booked on with a friend. Kirstie was great & very informative. She was clearly skilled in her trade, and friends thought the images I sent them were real so I went away pleased in a days work. If you have an interest and want to have a little look closer into the world of media makeup then definitely give BAMM a try.

BAMM has changed my life, it has given me the knowledge and confidence I need to start a successful career as a MUA in film and television. I have received so much support from Mel, Stacey and the team and I am forever grateful. My experience was amazing and I could not recommend the academy enough.
