I have no issues wit the practice and would like to make and appology to staff working here as they have alway been helpful and polite and happy to help - despite my clear frustrations with the pharmacy next door however unfortunatly due to the actions of this pharmacy i have had to give the surgery a two star review I WANT TO MAKE IT CLEAR THE ISSUE IS NOT WITH THE SURGERY however the pharmacy - I have been taking a medication for 6 years with no issue this medication is very important and without i am not able to function and conduct my daily tasks last month (jan) the pharmacy made an error and my perscription was not ready till march as they had put the script in as a two mnth rather than a mnth script i gave them the benifit of the doubt after the reassured me that this error would not occur again (despite not taking responsibility for there error) this error meant that i had to wait at the surgery to see a doctor who gave me a perscription for my medication despite this clearly being an error with the pharmacy they would not take responsibility and told me "that i should take responsibility for my medication and that "it will be my fault for not keeping up with perscription review" and that "if i am not happy with the pharmacy i should use a different service" i pointed out to them that this is untrue - this is a medication that i have been taking for years and i make sure review is carried out when scheduled due to the natrue of the medication they were surprised when my tone became less friendly to them implying that this was somehow an error on my behalf i handed the perscription to the pharmacy and were told to come in on the 7th of feb for my next perscription i came in and the perscription was not ready the same error had occured as last month they're excuse this time was that the script had been mixed up by the surgery who only sent a perscription after a blood test i had in the mean time i pointed out that i handed the perscription to them last month and that this could not have been why the error occured to this they contiuned to suggest that the reason for the error was something i had done despite not giving any reason to how it could be they then told me that i should download and app in order to do my perscription - to which i pointed out that this suggestion would never have been made had i been a 90y/o and that i should have to they then refused to give me details of the staff to lodge a complaint and again told me to use a different service I WILL NEVER USE LLOYDS AGAIN THE PHARMACIST AT THIS LOCATION CAN NOT CORRECTLY DO THEY'RE JOB THE STAFF ARE RUDE AND DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILTY FOR THEIR FAILING AND ERRORS i have made a complaint to lloyds directly and will be contacting cqc and other agencies to ensure that no one has to go through the experiance i have with this pharmcay ! stay well clear !

Since registering here after being very dissatisfied with my previous doctors surgery, I have been exceptionally impressed by the warm personable reception staff. They are efficient and helpful. The call back service is very convenient. The Doctor was polite and listened to my request with a few questions. The prescription was forwarded to Lloyd’s chemist, and was ready for collection within a few hours of my consultation. The surgery is modern, light and airy and has pleasant clean waiting areas. Everything you might expect but with a patient friendly approach. Excellent!

Dr Doug Jeffery is great! He really cares about his patients and hears you out without making you feel like a hypochondriac. He also follows up and gives great medical advice. I've had some unpleasant encounters with gps at other practices but Dr Jeffery has never made me feel like I can't call up the practice when I need help. Great practice, very helpful staff!

Mine and my husband's professional life has seen us move houses x13, all over the country, and each time registering with a local GP practice. Barlow Medical Centre is by far the best one! They have a highly professional, efficient and caring team all round. I cannot fault the care my family has received so far, at this medical centre.

Got a call back from nurse Leola - not friendly and quite unprofessional. Have uploaded my photos as requested before the call, her attitude was bad when dialing in - she accused of me not sending in advance which turned out she overlooked them. After looking at the photos, she did not tell what I’m suffering from and just prescribed some me creams. Not informative which makes me uncertain of her judgement.

GP has advised for urine test of my daughter to check UTI and its been 7 days but haven't got the results. The reception is clueless. Upon follow up one will say 'will chase the lab' .. other day they say 'we don't chase up and need to wait'... absolutely ridiculous! My daughter is complaining of stomach pain and we don't have know what is the underlying problem until the lab share the results. Doctors are good but reception staff is completely clueless and not helpful.

Can never ever get an appointment. Absolutely pointless trying, the system is silly. Spoke to friends at other surgerys and they get appointments straight away.
