It was back in 2015 when I visit Baltic. It is always a marvelous place to visit for a breakfast morning. Sourdough is their signature which I always aim at. The environment is bit industrial which I liked the most on their brown brick works. It is a must visit in Liverpool in the morning.

Good artesian bread to take away. No home comforts here, very rustic and best serves the resident student lobby in the vicinity. Food not bad but tends to lean on the greasy side and bakery priduct were over sugary with sponges being very very dry. Great place if you are young but be warned not inexpensive. An artisan loaf cost upwards of £3.45 and toasties for three inc. two teas and a bottle of water were £30+.

Rare to have a cafétière out and about. Rarer still for it to be any good. This one was excellent.

Rare to have a cafétière out and about. Rarer still for it to be any good. This one was excellent. Ultimate grilled cheese with comté and leek was superb. Sourdough toast was cheap and delicious with various toppings on offer. Great place. Small cafe with 15 or so seats. WC is up a small but steep & narrow staircase.

Nice little store with some good staff. Coffee wasn't my cup of tea, but It definitely wasn't bad coffee. Bacon and sausage sandwich, despite costing about five pounds, came with a single sausage and a slice of bacon. Overall, I wouldn't consider this place to be good bang for your buck. Pastries are good, but same idea applies.

Great little find. Excellent range of freshly made cakes/pastries/breads on offer. I ended having a sausage & bacon butty which I really enjoyed. Could've just had the sourdough bread with a bit of butter it was that good. They only do a filter coffee here but don't in let that out you off as that is very decent too.
