I used to see Dr potter but unfortunately she has left and I would rate 5 stars along with Dr sikdar. Dr sikdar was very relaxed and knew the problems I had without looking on the NHS websites or books, he's a very good Dr and I recommend that you see him if you go to this Dr surgery but there is never enough same day appointments in case of emergencies and some receptionists are very abrupt and not willing to see if they can do anything other than there are no appointments ring at 12pm or 8am... But I have rang 80 odd times before getting through as the line is busy and then there's no appointments. Lisa is very helpful she always goes out of her way to make sure I get some kind of care that is needed. But I do think this Dr surgery has gone downhill, this has always been my drs and the last couple of years I have been more stressed out after a phone call to receptionist than before I rang.

Need to train receptionist that people suffer from mental health illness, DON'T treat people with suicidal depression like they are a nuisance because they don't have all the information needed to register. She could see I was upset but didn't care two hoots. Way to go I feel even more worthless now than I did when I walked in! Should have checked the rating first I guess.

Went here through the emergency dental care service after being referred via calling 111. I had severe pain and swelling in the cheek but had not taken paracetamol which made the receptionist question my calling and suggested I take paracetamol and call back (they seemed very annoyed, probably because I'm a bit stubborn). Nevertheless I persisted and was given an appointment in 20 minutes. Funnily enough both the 111 service and myself was right; the receptionist soon warmed up once she saw her dentist colleague diagnose the issue as a serious case of buccal swelling which required antibiotics. They were then prescribed in the next 10 minutes, along with a note for my employers and I was out in 10 minutes. Job done, no drama.

The doctors and nurses who work here are professional and kind but my problem is with the rude receptionist staff. I have been in several times here and have been served by an older female receptionist who has been brusque and impolite every time I have been in. I witnessed her speaking with a women before I arrived and her manner was simply awful. Before talking to me she wheeled away to strike up a conversation with another member of staff, keeping me waiting another minute. When she finally did serve me, she was bad-mannered and rude, giving short one word answers and not giving me the time of day, giving the impression that talking to me was a simply a hassle for her. I went in on a Tuesday morning to give you an idea of the lady in question. I don’t normally leave reviews on Google but this experience was so infuriating that I simply had to say something. Her customer service has to be addressed as it just be affecting countless others who’s stories won’t be heard.

A repeat of many comments already posted. Can never get through to them and I mean never! Doctors are always leaving - reception is quite often rude. When you want to discuss a result from the hospital etc its the receptionist (when you can get through) that tells you what the notes say...wow...I didn't think reception was qualified to be giving quite detailed analysis out over the phone. I thought that was the job of the doctor.

Registered with them last year at the start of uni, they “lost” my registration form twice which contained a lot of personal information. Went in for an appointment once and they refused to even take me into another room. My appointment was done in the waiting area. Do not recommend.

First time visit to this surgery, now that it has 'merged' with St Peter's Medical Centre. Nice airy building with buzzer entry. Staff were friendly & helpful. Seats in waiting areas comfortable. Healthcare assistant I saw to be given a new Diabetes blood glucose monitor was delightful & knowledgeable. This new site is a bit of a hike from home for me, which challenged my lower left side disability, but I took the walk slowly in the sunshine & enjoyed the extra exercise. Was quite exhausted once home though & had to rest for the rest of the day. I prefer going to St Peter's Drs surgery in Oxford St because it is both closer to home, so convieint, & much more familiar to me. KM.
