Adam Richmond (Osteopath) – Nottingham

Literally walked out a different man than I walked in- a lot more to go for full recovery but Adam took the time to understand the root cause, test his hypotheses and actually allow me walk out as if nothing was wrong. Feel great. Compared to the physio I saw last night who gave me some exercises - which won't help until root cause treated. 100% recommend - worth the money!!!!

I came to Adam after months of confusion about an injury I had suffered on my hamstring. I had been to a couple of physiotherapists in the past but hadn’t had any success. I was so confused at why the injury wasn’t healing by itself that I’d convinced myself that there was something entirely different wrong with me and it was a really stressful time as I’m a yoga teacher and therefore my muscle health is imperative to my work. Adam immediately cleared the confusion and pin pointed exactly what the problem was. He gave me a clear explanation about what was happening and why, and he then gave me a (very simple to stick to) healing plan. He gave me the tools and insight i needed in order to heal the injury. During our appointments Adam wasn’t just mechanically going through the motions, it was really clear how passionate he is about what he does. I could tell that he treated my case as a completely individual case and he really listened and advised as to how I could move forward. He even answered any questions I had outside of appointments! I can’t speak highly enough about this Osteopath! I’m hoping I don’t have any injuries in the future but if I ever did then this is 100% who I would come to. I can’t thank you enough Adam!

After having several visits to both my GP and another Physiotherapist I finally got a diagnosis after a very short time visiting LMC. I’ve been a couple of times with my bad back and I always feel so much better after a visit. Always very helpful and professional and adjusts my exercises based on how things are coming along. I had severe hip pain on/off for a few months - particularly exacerbated while driving. Adam was extremely creative investigating the causes of the issue - even taking time to analyse my driving position. Adam is thorough, professional and knowledgeable. I am now completely clear of the issue.

I visited Adam at Lace Market Clinic after waking up with acute neck pain in the middle of the night and being unable to get into any position to relieve it. I managed to obtain an on the day appointment with the online booking system which was really helpful. After booking Adam quickly responded via email to confirm that he would be able to help with my problem. At the clinic Adam was extremely professional and personable and together we outlined my history and any possible trigger for the pain. He did some lower back and neck manipulations and directed me to do some neck stretching exercises to loosen up the muscle. I left the treatment with instant relief from my pain, and some exercises to do to help rehabilitate my neck. Over the next two weeks with stretches and the use of heat packs my pain has gone. Adam sent me a follow up email to check on my progression. Overall I had an extremely positive experience with Adam and I would definitely recommend him. The online booking system means its easy to get an appointment fast- this was important to me as I didn't have to take any time of work. I'm not originally from Nottingham and its great to know I now have a local clinic I can go to if I have any problems in the future. Thanks again Adam!
