Abbey Gardens oxford

A really peaceful place to have your packed lunch and enjoy a walk. It started off looking small but in fact there was enough green space for me to walk for well over an hour. Beautiful local wildlife along the local cancel although most of the towpath is quite secluded so I'd take care in the darker times of the day as it can be lonely and hard to see your footing.

A lovely place, but relatively small park. Lots of people with children and dogs. Family friendly atmosphere.

Very pretty. Free. Part of a nice stroll from the bridge along the river, over the pedestrian lock crossing, and back through the park and gardens.

Looks good for children. A splash zone and an outside pool. Changing rooms, toilets and a snack kiosk are all here. We could see the Thames but on our visit we weren't able to get near it. Benches for sitting and bins for rubbish were all around.

Lovely open space in Abingdon. Free splash park. Open Air Swimming pool. 2 play parks for children and beautiful flowers and trees.

Abbey gardens and Abbey Meadows are lovely places, just a shame some people don't clean up after their dogs and some don't bin or take home their rubbish. Love the ducks and geese.

Lovely place to visit. Highly recommended. Lovely gardens and a fantastic play area. Car park busy but expected on a nice day.

Great park near to the Thames. Nice folly, ornamental pond, Abbey remains, play area with water jets, and an open air pool. Ice cream van in the summer months and well kept.

Lovely park. Plenty of activities for the children. A lively place for a picnic and a great opportunity to feed wildlife..like squirrels, ducks, gees and swans. Also excellent for long walks and cycling.
