Unfortunately, the receptionist seemed uninterested and dismissive from the start. Instead of listening attentively to my situation, they simply redirected me to speak with a pharmacist. While I understand that the receptionist may not be medically trained, it is essential to mention that I had already sought advice from a healthcare professional. Despite being directed by another medical professional to consult with my GP, the receptionist at Macklin Street Surgery refused to acknowledge the gravity of my situation and insisted on speaking with a pharmacist instead. It is concerning that the surgery's staff, even when directed by other medical professionals, would not consider the severity of my condition and take appropriate action.
