Slow, incompetent and irresponsible
I've been helping a friend negotiate with Boulton & Griffiths and they're just awful. They didn't fix a leaking toilet for weeks, leaving her with an excess of £513 in water charges which is their legal responsibility - but they won't pay her back. Instead, they tried to claim back £415 in waived rent that the landlord agreed to write off because B&G took FIVE MONTHS to organise a new lettings contract with a new second tenant. Even though the landlord agreed to this, B&G are trying to grab it back. They're constantly late in replying, clearly not competent in property management, and have left lots of faults unfixed in the flat. Avoid at all costs!
