How to make the customer pay for the mistakes the mechanic made.
My daughter took her 10 year old Peugeot to have a noise investigated. Wheel bearing replaced but they said the drive shaft was worn and also needed replacing, at a cost of several hundred pounds + labour (half my daughter's monthly wage). Took the car back to the dealer we bought it from. Turns out Bridge Garage had messed up the reassembly by breaking off a nut in its seating, and were going to charge my daughter to repair the mistake they'd made. Clever!
