I contacted The London Door Company to come and view a front door, I was ashamed with the unprofessionalism, unorganised and the time that was wasted that London Door cost me. I would recommend people to not associate with this such unprofessional company, plus I rung up to make a formal complaint to London Door and it seemed like they didn't care about the customers. To conclude this service was dreadful.

Don't be fooled by the lovely photos, real life looks nothing like it. After weeks of trying to communicate with the London Door I feel that I've exhausted all my hope of being acknowledged by them and feel that I gave the best of chances for them to sort out the issues with my installation and door and now feel that this review is more than fair. We had our appointment with Tom (the sales representative) and he was incredibly nice and prompt to respond to all my questions. At the time I had mentioned that security was a big thing for me and since we were thinking of having glass on the door I asked a few times just how far the glass would go inside the door (I assumed the glass would be inserted inside the door as some of their competitors do) and Tom assured me it would go in a few centimetres and would be as secured as possible. There was no mention of the fact that the glass would be secured only with a few bits of timber (which ended up being the case). The day of the installation came and we had to stay home all day with the tradesmen who came to install the door. At the end of the day the fitter told me he didn't have all the materials to finish the door so they would have to come back another day. Our door was left with two bits of timber holding the massive glass panel and A LOT more to be finished. He said the London Door hadn't sent him everything he needed and from what I gathered its something that happens a lot. We were also left with marks on our recently painted cabinet and walls by the entrance. It was another two weeks before we had another fitting for which we also had to stay home all day. The second fitter was scheduled to come later in the day (even though the London Door knew there was a lot to be done) and he hadn't been told just how much work was left to be finished so in the end he told me he wouldn't have time to finish it all and we'd need yet another visit. Another week went by and we had the third visit scheduled (had to stay home all day for a third time). By this point I had been in touch several times with James from customer services. Who is very good at apologising but not very good at taking any actions. I have complained several times of the fact that our door was left with the beading (that secures the glass) UNPAINTED (so after paying all this money we have to paint the beading on the door ourselves?), a little damage at the front, which I understand is bound to happen, but nothing has been done about it, and a damaged cabinet and walls. All my emails and questions seem to be ignored and I had to send the same photos several times as every time I ask why my queries haven't been acknowledged I am asked to send yet another email with the images again. So the bottom line is, we paid a lot of money were made to think it would be the most secure thing ever and the glass is only held by a few little pieces of wood which were left unpainted and very badly finished on the inside and the outside (all the rubber that goes between the glass and the frame is already extremely dirty and no one seems to be able to advise on what to do). And also has marks scratches and scuffs which again we'd need to fix ourselves as well as our cabinet and walls that have been damaged. I am giving three starts because I do believe the door is solid and the glass is very sturdy and I should mention that we only did the door with them and not the frame and we've been told they wouldn't do any decorating to the frame which is absolutely fine but the door that they fitted themselves being left in this state and the fact that the glass is not part of the door when I was under the impression that it would be is appalling. I am not impressed with their service nor product. For the price you expect it to be this amazing product and that they'll leave your door looking like this amazing images they present on the website and the reality is a half finished door and being told that if you want it finished you need to do it yourself. And an extremely unorganised service
