The staff here have always been so helpful. We needed a piece of tech quickly which they didn't have in stock, they managed to get it from another store for us within a couple of days. I'm also tech clueless and they've never made me feel silly for not knowing what I'm on about!!

There are very few privately owned specialist shops that sell audio/visual equipment on the high street. Apart from Richer Sounds, nationally one has the choice of online discount sites or one particular ubiquitous chain. So if you want to be served grudgingly by bored teenagers whose specialist knowledge doesn’t go beyond selling you an insurance policy to back up the meagre 12 month warranty, go there. Alternatively go to Richer Sounds, pay a competitive price, be gladly served by an expert and take away a complimentary 5 years extra warranty at no extra charge. Choice, service and know-how every time.

After recently visiting this store and getting some great advice, I bought a brilliant Samsung soundbar with rear speakers. Unfortunately, there was a fault with the rear speakers. The staff I spoke to (Joe, Fred and Paul) were quick to resolve the problem by arranging a replacement set. The service at this store is impeccable and a big "thank you" to them all. Highly recommend!

Demo I booked was a farce. Clearly no preparation so three amps used were all only playing through one speaker and this was only overcome by playing using optical link to amp. This was of no use to me as I wanted to test the streamer I wanted to buy and this by-passed the streamer DAC and used the inferior amp DAC. This did not put me off the product I wanted as I knew something was wrong - I just went elsewhere and purchased.

I recently bought a Cambridge Audio TVB2 Soundbar - Open Box. I would like to thank Fred for all his assistance and help. I will definitely go back to Fred when I need additional sound equipment! Thanks Danny

The response to an urgent need for a new TV was exemplary. Courteous and knowledgeable answers to questions and help to ensure that what I bought was right for me. Delivery overnight on time. One follow up question on installation answered with one phone call answered in 30 seconds. A massively better disoriented than the major out of town competitor. They were great
