One of the less known college among the thirty one semi autonomous college in Cambridge. It was built in 1352 by by the Guild of Corpus Christi and the Guild of the Blessed Virgin Mary. It is the only college founded the Cambridge people. It is the sixth oldest college in Cambridge. The rest of the colleges were founded by the nobles and the royals. Impressive architecture and wonderful history.

Lovely college in Cambridge which you can visit along the way to the market square! It has a small and pretty little chapel within. Don't forget to check out the famous Corpus Clock outside of the college too!

5/ 5

Corpus Christi College was founded in 1352. The College provides a stimulating academic and residential environment across the site of its original foundation in the heart of Cambridge and its postgraduate campus at Leckhampton. College Chapel stands in the centre of New Court, facing the entrance to the College from Trumpington Street. The Corpus Clock is one of the most distinctive public monuments in Cambridge and has been admired by residents and tourists since its inauguration in 2008.
